Phase 1: Pre-Application

Gather your information and prepare your business for selling on Wiroko

Business Information Ready

Have your business name, owner name, physical address, and contact details (email, phone) readily available.

Business Registration (Optional)

While not required, having your business registration number can speed up approval. Keep this handy if you have one.

Review Supplier Code of Conduct

Ensure your business practices and products comply with Wiroko's Supplier Code of Conduct. This covers product quality, ethical sourcing, and customer service standards.

Prepare Your Catalog

Start gathering product photos (high-quality, well-lit), descriptions, dimensions, materials, colors, and pricing information for all items you want to sell.

Phase 2: Application & Approval

Submit your application and wait for our team to review

Complete Application Form

Fill out the vendor application with accurate business details. This typically takes 5-10 minutes.

Email Verification

Check your email and verify your account. Look for an email from vendors@wiroko.com and click the verification link.

Application Review (24-48 hours)

Our team will review your application. Most applications are approved within 24-48 hours. You'll receive an email with the decision.

Phase 3: Account Setup

Configure your vendor dashboard and payment settings

Complete Your Vendor Profile

Add your business logo, cover image, business description, and social media links to build trust with customers.

Configure Payment Settings

Set up your payout method (bank transfer or mobile money), payout frequency (weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly), and minimum payout amount.

Verify Banking Information

Provide accurate bank account details or mobile money information. Double-check account numbers to avoid payout delays.

Set Notification Preferences

Choose how you want to receive notifications: email, SMS, and/or push notifications for orders, messages, and stock alerts.

Phase 4: Product Upload & Launch

Add your products and start selling

Upload Your First Products

Add at least 5-10 products to start. Include high-quality photos (minimum 1000x1000px), detailed descriptions, accurate pricing, and stock quantities.

Set Product Categories

Assign appropriate categories to each product (Living Room, Bedroom, Dining, Office, etc.) to help customers find your items.

Configure Product Details

Add dimensions, materials, colors, care instructions, and any special features. More detail = higher conversion rates.

Set Shipping Information

Specify shipping options, delivery times, and any location restrictions. Be realistic with delivery estimates.

Review and Publish

Double-check all product information for accuracy, then publish your products. They'll go live immediately and appear in search results.

Product Photography

  • • Show multiple angles (front, side, detail shots)
  • • Include lifestyle photos showing products in use
  • • Minimum resolution: 1000x1000 pixels

Product Descriptions

  • • Be specific about dimensions and materials

  • • Include care and maintenance instructions
  • • Use keywords customers might search for

Pricing Strategy

  • • Research competitor pricing in your category
  • • Factor in the 18.5% total fees (16% + 2.5%)
  • • Consider offering introductory discounts
  • • Price competitively but don't undervalue your work

Customer Service

  • • Respond to customer messages within 24 hours
  • • Ship orders promptly and update tracking info
  • • Be professional and courteous in all interactions
  • • Handle returns and complaints gracefully

Required Documents & Information for Cameroon

To operate legally as a vendor in Cameroon, you need to provide specific business documentation

Required Documents (Must Have)

  • RCCM Number (Registre de Commerce)
    Your business registration number from the commercial registry. This proves your business is legally registered in Cameroon.
  • NIF Number (Numéro d'Identification Fiscale)
    Your tax identification number. Required for all tax declarations and VAT purposes.
  • Patente Number (Trading License)
    Your municipal trading license. Must be renewed annually.
  • CNPS Number (Caisse Nationale de Prévoyance Sociale)
    Your social security registration number if you have employees. Required for all employers in Cameroon.

Optional Documents (Recommended)

  • E-Commerce Authorization
    Special authorization for online commerce activities. Helps build customer trust.
  • Digital License
    Digital business license for online operations. Shows compliance with digital commerce regulations.
  • Commercial Lease
    Proof of business premises. Required if you have a physical location.
  • Domiciliation Certificate
    Certificate of business address. Useful if operating from a shared office space.
  • Municipal Authorization
    Additional authorization from local municipal authorities. May be required in certain communes.
